Suggestions for Plus-size Figures
Aim to balance out your figure, avoiding small rim hats, tight knitted hats, baseball caps, etc. Choose more structure in a hat and draw attention to your upper body.
Look at your face shape first, coloration next, then choose the widest brim to cover as much of your shoulders as possible.
Hats with brims that curl upwards or are slightly floppy on one side are best. If you have a round shaped face too, be sure to choose a hat with a more angular brim.
Do not be afraid to wear a large hat, remember that you are striving to "balance" your figure. When you wear a hat, then the eye is naturally drawn to the face, a nice thing if you are a bit fluffy around the edges.
