Handcrafted Jewelry of the Pacific NW

Brilliantly colored Raku pendants fired with clay from the slopes of Mt. Hood in Oregon, these one of a kind pendants will be uploaded shortly for your consideration. Each is unique, all are exquisitely hand crafted in Oregon and reflect the explosive volcanic history that formed the mountains and the unique river valleys of the Pacific Northwest. Approximate size and weight in grams is provided for ease in comparing relative size of the pendant.

Colors of cobalt blue, magenta, bronze, gold and orange are represented as highlights when the naturally bronze-black pendant is turned in the hand. Each section of Raku is wrapped and embellished with solid copper beads and wire, plus suspended from a comfortable multi-strand organza fabric necklace. The length of the necklace averages about 18" without pendant, but can easily lengthened utilizing the extender links.

The Sand Polished Abalone necklaces are shaped by the natural rhythm of the ocean waves against the beach and each piece is further enhanced by the addition of freshwater pearls and either pure copper or silver color wire and beads. The comfortable multi-strand organza fabric strands average about 18" without the pendant, but can easily lengthened utilizing the extender links or shortened by making a knot in the fabric to make a choker.
